Blackwood Lane was established in 1990 as a small family run business. We started with only one product and can now boast of having a very extensive range for you to enjoy. During the first 10 years we tirelessly worked from home looking for gaps in this ever-changing market and gradually developed new products to add to our range. We did this while raising a young family. It still remains independently owned and now operates Australia wide and internationally. We service major Supermarkets and selected speciality stores.
Our Product range is extensive and includes Rices, James, Extra Virgin Olive Oils, Cake Decorations, Spices, Couscous; Organic as well as Bio-Organic, Diabetic and Gluten Free products. We also hold a range of speciality gifts to suit the enthusiastic cook. Our intention is to try to develop new products that are both different and affordable. Manufacturing is another side to our business having developed a range of Australian made Christmas lines. Our most popular being Fruit Mince, which
has taken a number of years to perfect.
George Spanos, our managing director, has over
30 years of experience in the food industry having worked with two major grain cereal corporations before starting Blackwood Lane. He was also a Marketing Lecturer at Monash University running many short courses over several years. This Marketing training has helped develop a series of criteria that has ensured long-term success for our company.
We are very excited to introduce a new range of cake decorating products to Australia. With over 5000 items you will find that special piece to make your cakes stand out for any occasion. This range also includes many cake decorating books.
Blackwood Lane is committed to giving our service that personal touch. All our staffs have been with us for many years and share the same vision and philosophy.
