    A. To purchase an item, simply click on the product. It will take you to the product page. On the product page there should be a box on the right Hand side for Requested Quantity, Insert count as required and then on the lower right hand side below the product description 'Add this to my cart'

    Q. Do you have a minimum order requirement?
    A. No. There is no minimum order requirement. But be aware that small order totals are not cost effective once you add the shipping charges to your order. In other words, it costs about the same to ship a $10.00 order as it does to ship a $100.00 order.

    Q. How will the items I order be packed?
    A. We aim to keep our packaging to a minimum to reduce waste and impact to the environment; this has to be balanced against the fragility of the products to prevent transit damage. Many items that we sell are supplied to us unboxed, so some items may arrive to you in bubble wrap and recycled packaging. Where products are described as ‘gift-boxed’ we will provide additional packaging to ensure both product and gift-box arrive in excellent condition. Damaged packaging is not a fault as packaging is intended to protect the contents from damage.

    Q. Can you treat my purchase as a gift?
    A. Our picking lists and sales receipts have prices listed but if you ask before we send the goods we should be able to obscure prices. We may be able to include additional packaging to protect the product boxes too. Please message us to request this before we confirm the order. Also note that the recipient will become responsible for return costs etc.

    Q. Do I have to pay for delivery?
    A. Yes, our prices are very competitive and we charge a fair price for delivery.

    Q. What care advice do you have for cookware?
    A. General care & use instructions are included with each cookware product. If missing they would include: Remove all labels, wash in hot soapy water and dry. Always use moderate to low heat and do not let the pans boil dry. If you should boil a pan dry do not move it. Turn off the heat source and allow the pan to cool before moving it. Excessive heat can spoil the appearance of a pan by causing discolouration of the surface. Quite often such marking can be cleaned off with stainless steel cleaner.

    Q. Bakeware Care & Use
    A. We manufacture our bakeware from Alsil, a high quality alloy which has been anodised to produce a smooth, easy clean finish. Alsil does not need to be seasoned before first use. An initial wash in warm soapy water is all that is required.

Various fats and oils may be used to "grease" our pans. Which one is best depends largely on the recipe being prepared, but here are a few basic hints:

    For Pastries:
Usually no grease required, as the fat in the pastry itself will do the job. However, unsalted butter should not affect flavour and may improve release.

    For Sponge Cakes:
Grease with unsalted butter. A light dusting of plain flour (knock-out after dusting) will also help, though this will create a light golden crust which may not suit some recipes.
We have also had excellent results with ground-nut oil, applied as a thin film with kitchen paper.

IMPORTANT NOTE: We have made extensive enquiries about ground-nut-oil in relation to nut allergies. Our understanding is that PURE ground nut oil will not affect sufferers. However, we cannot currently recommend it as totally safe.

    Q. Bakeware General Information
    A.
Lard is an excellent release agent and can be used in most circumstances. (Avoid if baking for vegetarians).
Olive Oil: Although many savoury recipes include olive oil as an ingredient, it is a poor release agent and if used to grease pans may build-up to form a sticky film which is difficult to remove. AVOID.
    Commercial release sprays:
There are several cooking release sprays on the market, often available in aerosol form. Although apparently designed to be used on bakeware, after frequent use some of these sprays will build-up a residue which will spoil the release properties of bakeware (even causing traditional PTFE non-stick to fail). We do not currently recommend any commercial release spray.

    Q. Bakeware After Use Care
    A. After use, wash in warm, soapy water, rinse and dry. Avoid using sharp utensils and knives. Cooking with certain fats and oils may produce a light discolouration on the surface of the pan. This is quite normal, and is not hazardous to health. Some professional chefs encourage a 'patina' of this nature to build-up on their bakeware.

    NOT SUITABLE FOR DISHWASHERS
In common with many high-quality products, anodised bakeware should never be put in the dishwasher. Some dishwasher detergents contain caustic cleaning agents which may chemically attack and damage the surface of your pan irreparably. Similarly, avoid the use of oven-cleaners and other harsh chemical cleaning agents.
